Termite Damage in Maize - Aren't you thankful we don't have to deal with that?

Termite damage in maize is a huge problem for subsistance farmers who do not use any sort of mechanical tillage. Using mechanical tillage breaks up termite mounds in fields and prevents this from being a problem.
